Great location of the hotel. We walked from the train station late evening and felt safe all the time while here. It is an older hotel but well maintained. Amenities were nice in the room and adequate but nothing fancy. Good wifi and the breakfast that was included was a nice and easy way to get a solid breakfast at a restaurant around the corner before our big day of exploring the city.

No USB connections for charging phones and so on if you are from the US Good location for getting around. We walked from the train station and to sites like the colleseum. Lots of places to eat nearby. The wooden elevator was interesting.

Our stay at Hotel Sonya was nice. The bed and pillows weren’t comfy at all. They do have a small elevator that was nice so we didnt have to lug our bags up stairs. Staff held bags until check in and showed you to your room at check in which was nice.
