Reception staff not unfriendly but just seemed miserable. No kids menu for in house dining or Chapmans. We always stayed here as Holiday Inn in the past 6 - 8 times a year for 3 years and it was awesome. Will shop around now for something else with a heated pool.

Good hotel, reasonable pricing, kind staff! Nice hot tub however seems like jets weren’t working. Could do better on cleaning the bathroom, small pieces of hair on the bathroom floor and filthy soap dispensers with toothpaste splatters on the mirror. Bed was nice and clean though

Great place to stay a bit out of town but is nice as it has all you need. Great games room for kids as well as nice heated pool and spa. Food was great and daughter loved the chocolate fountain in restaurant for desert. Would recommend this hotel. Rooms were lovely and aircon was on a heat which was super nice at the time as was a bit cool.

Our stay was amazing. We went fishing in the Ngongotaha River and stay at the Rydges Hotel, which was not far away from where we wanted to fish.

The staff were very reserved and NOT helpful to their patrons. Even not able to provide minimum facilities like tissues on the site. Rooms are not very air-conditioned. For the same price, we can get far better rooms in a convenient location.

The hotel is on a quiet residential street near a thermal reserve, so the smell of sulphur can be a bit overwhelming at times. Hotel is quite lovely.
