This hotel was very nice, property and room seemed almost new which was great. The check in was easy and quick. Room was great, very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable. Only issue was that there was a terrible smell like sewage in the bathroom when I got in there. It smelled as if someone had used the bathroom recently and had some digestive issues. I found that hard to believe and also considered that maybe it was coming from a vent because the bathroom was spotless and clean. It was late, I was only staying one night so decided to live with it and turned on the fan in the bathroom, which after an hour or so with the fan running, the smell went away. I was glad for this, but it only confirmed my suspicion that perhaps someone had used the toilet. It put a damper on what would have otherwise been a great stay. And I wanted to point to out because the housekeeping was great, a beautifully clean room, so this incident was something else I felt, and can really impact someone’s view of their stay. Parking lot was pretty packed when I arrived, but I was able to find a spot and as it turned out, my room was near to an exit close to where my car was, so it was convenient that they have multiple exits into the parking lot. Other than the bathroom issue, everything else was good.

First, they did not have our reservations. But the man checking us in, said he could see the reservation in Expedia, so he made us reservations. I don't know who's fault that was, but I hope it does not happen again. Other than that, everything went well.

We were only there for a night, but by far our best stay on our roadtrip. The jacuzzi room was fabulous. Best breakfast with options beyond waffles including pancakes, french toast, obrien potatoes, parfait bar, and REAL scrambled eggs. Far more amenities than other places, like the sauna. The only hesitation I have is that we arrived late and the only available parking in the back was not well lit and didn't seem to have surveillance. There was a lot of broken glass in the parking lot the next morning so I think someone parked next to us was very unlucky. I don't know the neighborhood to know if that's typical or not. Still I would love to stay again and try to snag front parking.

The staff is amazing, breakfast could be better with healthier bread options (other than white toast), non dairy creamer for coffee would be nice too, other breakfast items were very good - bacon, eggs, fruit - everything fresh and delicious, and yes, I need to mention one more time - the staff is amazing!
