Perfect hotel

Amazing hotel. Spotless, super comfortable beds, great location, friendly and helpful staff, nice amenities, 24 hour coffee freshly ground per cup, breakfast foods available for purchase, gift shop, fridge and microwave in room, grocery store a 1/2 mile away, parking only 10 dollars a day in attached garage. The views of the mountains and the city are amazing. Great price. Location: to get from the airport can easily take the train which stops right in front of the hotel. I think it is the green line. The convention center is across the street. The bad: The hotel is closing in November (2025) to be replaced by a parking lot! This is a travesty because this hotel has it all.

The staff was lovely and super helpful in all of my questions. They were also very accommodating when the plumbing issue happened. Got upgraded to an even nicer room though I really liked the one I had, so I had a great experience both times. Big shoutout to Giselle also for helping me personally with the bath issue, 10/10 and 5 stars if I could.

Room was older. Wallpaper ripping. Grout in bathroom appeared moldy. The facility was hard to use a luggage rack. Just stairs in the entrance and had to walk down to get to a path to push the rack.

The room and view we got in comparison to the price we paid, was a great deal. Yes, there is a lot of construction going on downtown, but we couldn't hear it from our room. We had a great view from the 9th floor. Unfortunately, the tiling in the shower needed some new grout, so I'm hoping it doesn't cause water damage or leak underneath. Breakfast and other food items you also had to pay for, which was a big downside. But, definitely going to stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Salt Lake Plaza. It was a great value for the money. A bit outdated, but friendly staff, very comfortable bed and clean.

The only issue we had was the scanner to get in and out of the parking garage, which apparently doesnt belong to the hotel...it didnt work correctly most of the time.

The lobby and front of the property are a bit dated, but the hotel is in a great location! Staff were helpful and friendly, and the bed was SO comfortable. Very convenient to downtown and many restaurants, transportation and shopping!!
