We really enjoyed our stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Antonio! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Alamo and several other must-see spots, which made sightseeing super easy. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, and ours even had a walk-in closet (such a pleasant surprise!). Clean, comfortable, and convenient—would definitely stay here again.

Room wasn't as nice as newer built hotels but the location was great. We easily walked to the Alamodome 4 times in one day to watch UIL State Band. We also easily walked to and from the riverwalk multiple times the same day. Valet parking was convenient and fast (we only used them at check in and check out but it was a very easy experience). Staff was so sweet and kind..... even with the chaos of having a large school group staying. They were truly the kindest group of hotel staff we've experienced. Front desk, valet, breakfast staff, cleaners, maintenance.......all very very sweet/kind in every interaction we had or saw.

The tub in the bathroom looked terrible it clearly needed to be resurfaced really bad!!!!! Had to put towels in the bottom of the tub to take a shower and that was with shower shoes on!

Stayed here for a single weekend night. Hotel was clean and fairly modern. The hotel wasn't ready until after 5pm. Management was nice about it, but they clearly need more cleaning staff. Room was large and comfortable. The AC fan made a racket, but we since didn't turn it on until we got back into the room around midnight, we didn't bother to request service. Breakfast was pretty standard. Nothing special. Parking is expensive for what it is.

The beds needs to be updated. Very uncomfortable. The whole building produced a loud humming noise at night made it difficult to sleep. The staff was VERY friendly but one member of the night staff accidentally gave a room key to someone else for my room who attempted to walk in at 2 am. Fortunately i had the security latch locked. He was apologetic but i cant help but wonder what if i hadn't and the person had ill intentions. We visit san antonio every year for a convention. Needless to say i wont be revisiting this hotel.

IT’S NOT A GOOD HOTEL. THE AIR CONDITIONER IS SO OLD THAT NEITHER MY CHILDREN NOR MY FAMILY COULD SLEEP. THE AIR CONDITIONER MADE SO MUCH NOISE, LIKE A TRAIN RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR EAR. IF YOU CAN, LOOK FOR ANOTHER HOTEL WITH BETTER CONDITIONS.

Everything was great, 8 minute walk to the Riverwalk! Only downside was the parking. They only have valet parking for $37. Felt like I had to use it to have peace of mind regarding my vehicle. But overall, a great experience.
