We came off a cruise at 8am at the hotel. We had three separate rooms. We each checked in and were told there was a good chance of early check in. One was offered an early room for an additional 60.00 which they declined. We were not but were told it would be a while which we expected with 4pm check in. One room was ready at 11am. The next at 2:30pm. We had plans for dinner stressed to the staff and asked if our room was available 4 x through 5pm when they finally found something for us.we had to be up and out at 3am. They were not helpful or friendly. I am a hilton honors was not treated as such. I strongly believe we were treated as such because we reserved thru expedia vs hilton the others reserved thru hilton. They only gave us our room because we were not happy for the 4th time and told us it was an upgrade which was not true. Our room had a moldy wet smell.

The hotel, location and amenities were all good. We had quite a hard time at check in. Our flight was delayed and we called the hotel to let them know that we are reaching the next day. They indicated that they made a note of it. Upon reaching the hotel and at check in, they said that we had only 1 day reservation while we booked for non refundable 4 days through expedia. They explained that because we were a no show, their hotel policies cancels the reservation. After much frustruation and an hour wait, we were finally provided a room by the elevators. This was truly disappointing. I am not sure if this is because of booking through expedia or otherwise but definitely didn't experience this at other Hilton stays in the past.

For my first stay at this hotel, my experience was not as expected. The staff members were friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, the room I stayed in had a noticeable smell, which I reported to the front desk. The staff member explained that there had been a leak, causing water to seep into the carpets of many rooms, including mine. Additionally, the hotel recently implemented a new parking exit system that proved to be an inconvenience . I had to repeatedly reverse my vehicle and ask the cars behind me to move so I could maneuver out of the parking lot. This process was frustrating and time-consuming, especially as I had to walk back to the front desk and wait online just to validate my parking ticket before leaving.

This hotel is immaculate and the staff is excellent as well. The pool is pretty and quiet for a relaxed experience. There is a bar outside the pool and a hot tub. Plenty of seating too. There is a casino, a bar and a restaurant onsite. You can also order food at the bar. The breakfast was very good too, good variety and made to order options. The beach is about a 7min walk from the hotel, very safe to walk to. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Overall great stay, will definitely recommend!
