Our room was spacious, light and well furnished, the bathroom was also spacious and cleaned to a high standard each day. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was a pleasant place to sit - in the sunshine during the morning and in the cooler shade later on. The staff were exceptional - friendly, polite, helpful and always professional. They were very helpful when I sprained my ankle - providing an icepack and then calling for a doctor when my husband was ill. The breakfast choice was also exceptional, as were the options for the evening meal on the poolside or in the Magnolia restaurant The garden area was a peaceful oasis - it would have been nice to have more seating in the shady areas of the garden. I would recommend this Hotel for its peaceful atmosphere and lovely staff. It was hard to believe that the busy Corso Italia was only a short walk up the road!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! It is horrible. Out of all of the hotels I have ever stayed in, this is by far the worst. The staff is rude and the rooms are diagusring. The chairs on the balcony were made of plastic and had holes in them couldn’t even sit in them. Mold growing in the bathroom. The ac doesn’t work in the rooms. The mattress was at least 20 years old. It’s far from the town of Sorrento, If you don’t have a car you will have to get a taxi any time you want to go to town which would probably be every day just to get away from this awful place

Majestic Palace Hotel was a fantastic experience for my wife and I for our stay in Sorrento. Set in a residential area, the hotel is clean and well kept. The lobby is spacious, with a Michelin rated restaurant within, plus a bar that opens up to the pool, and a rooftop bar that overlooks the city and coast of Sorrento. It is spectacular at night, and they make great drinks. Our room was large with plenty of room for us to move around. The bathroom was nice and not crowded space. We had a balcony with a few seats to sit outside and overlook the pool. Breakfast was served in a large room, and there was plenty of food to choose from. Something for everyone whether you like hot or cold items. There were also a few machines serving many options of your favorite coffee and hot drinks. The staff were friendly and efficient at check-in. And every time we walked by, they always said hello and were smiling. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here.

A beautiful property with a large and elegant room overlooking the garden. The pool was so lovely and the dining options in the hotel were excellent. Buffet breakfast was delicious with good variety. The location was perfect and we enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. The La Marinella beach club (beautiful!) was within walking distance as was the Sant’ Agnello train station. We loved staying there!

Get you camera out. Visit the gardens, sit outside to dine, enjoy the best breakfast. I don’t normally do reviews but had to with this gem. The rooftop bar at sunset is incredible. The garden room was huge with a private garden area.

We stayed at the property for 6 nights and had nothing but the best time during our stay. Everyone from Pasqualina our housekeeper to the people at the front desk, the bar and the restaurant and the manager were nothing but kind and helpful during our time there. We had a beautiful room overlooking the city and it was quiet and always so clean. I look forward to getting home and telling our family and friends about this little hidden gem ! We loved how it had a pool we spent many wonderful days at! Also, the pizza at the magnolia restaurant in the hotel was amazing !!!! We cannot wait to go back one day and stay again! Majestic palace you will always have a special place in our hearts!!!

The rooms and property were very clean and staff was amazing. Their food from the two restaurants was great with a good choice for dinner if you wanted to stay for dinner. The Martini Bar at the top had a great view, music and staff attended to all your needs. Their pool area was very clean and again staff was wonderful.

Overall, the stay was fine, but it felt more like an average hotel experience than a true 4-star standard. The room could have been cleaner—there was visible dust around the vents in both the bathroom and bedroom, and the shower glass wasn’t fully clean upon arrival. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. One drawback was the constant construction noise around the pool, as work was being carried out in the garage area beneath it. This took away from the relaxation factor. While the hotel isn’t terrible, it does need improvement to meet the expectations of a 4-star property, especially considering the price.

My husband and I stayed for a week in August 2025. I think this is an excellent hotel that is clean, quiet, accommodating and for the typical cost of the area, very reasonably priced. I did not take any stars off for this because it’s my error in mapping but is a full 30 minute walk (and we are city walkers) into central Sorrento. In the heat, the walk was quite tiring and the taxis did not want to go to that end of Sorrento. When calling a taxi we were denied multiple times because despite it being a great area I would recommend, it is not in Sorrento proper. Things I did remove stars for- the pool towel situation was extremely strange. They provide 1 pool towel per person at check-in. However, if you go to the pool everyday, your towel really never gets dry. I think it’s so strange that they expect you to use the same pool towel for your entire stay. Our towels were musty by day 4 so we ended up getting two extra (for €2.50 each.) The staff is polite, overall it was a good place to stay for comfort and value during our time in Sorrento. 4/5 :)

Magical, romantic stay with free upgrade

We had an amazing stay here, the staff were so friendly and so helpful. We had an upgrade upon arrival which was so special and we were so grateful for this. The room was big, bright and clean. Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh sheets and towels. The breakfast was delicious and such a wide choice and variety, something for everyone. There was also multiple restaurants and bars within the hotel, we were spoilt for choice but the rooftop really made it so special. The view was out of this world. Other than a few loud groups on some of the days, the hotel was peaceful and quiet with plenty of space around the pool area. Perhaps some more sunbeds would be required if the hotel is full as on some days we struggled to get space as there was people who left towels and did not come round for hours on end. One thing for me would be to open the pool area earlier - some of us are early birds and like to sit and read for a while before it gets too busy - the pool and any seating outside did not strictly open until 9am which I found a bit inconvenient. However a good thing - the later start means people cannot 'reserve' sunbeds so I understand the reasons. Overall, a magical stay and we were so grateful for everything, thank you.
