It would get 5 stars but if you’re light sleepers don’t take a room on the first floor. Our upstairs neighbors definitely disturbed the peace, stomping and dropping things at midnight and then again at 7am. The property is gorgeous, the staff is courteous, and we loved our morning hike in the forest.

Older property and rooms need some upgrading . However the restaurant and amenities are amazing. This is a nice getaway in the Santa Cruz Mountains away from the hussle and bussel.

The staff was outside smoking right by our rooms. My young son said hello to them and they laughed at him! The room had thin walls and j could hear every step and couldn’t sleep. The room service was very late and half provided.

Food was superb. The employees were so attentive and very serviceable. This was a business stay so didn’t get the chance to enjoy the amenities. Did manage to squeeze in a hike the shortest trail of the 3 they offer. Breathtaking views especially after rainy day.
