A true 5-star experience

Expensive but a true 5-star hotel and experience. The staff was truly excellent - all consistently friendly and helpful. The room, property, view and breakfasts were all spectacular. The location was very convenient for walking to everything we needed. Located right “on the main drag” but tucked away out of view of the main walkway for privacy and quiet. Recommend using their shared shuttle service from the ferry terminal for only 35 euros due to the challenge of finding the hotel and carrying luggage. Prepare to tip the porter who will come to the taxi to help transport your luggage up the hill to the hotel. Note the town of Fira not suitable for children due to all the steep drops and cliffs; we were told the southern black sand beach area is the family-friendly spot.

If your elderly , lots of walking,,Don't get room 10 or 9 , its in a man hole with a spiraling stare case , was hard to get up and down.. Yhey should have a warning on rooms like that.

Beautiful hotel and view. The staff is very friendly and they make the most out of the experience for you. There are only ten rooms so it’s not over crowded. The best part is they bring your breakfast to your room. You get a caldera view while you eat your hand selected breakfast.

Anything you need from transportation to any tours or interests you would like to book with was so easy with them. It was so nice to work with Anastasia and all staff. Firstly, I have to say that the staff here took this boutique hotel from 9/10 to 11/10! They make this place what it is! Special shoutout to Anastasia, Joy, Rahman, Kostas, and the guy at the desk in the evening. These people are a LIGHT in this place and they really are the most genuine people in the world! This was my wedding week and I had booked the villa for 4 of us for the space and the views. The views are unmatched! Aside from the best hospitality ever, the breakfasts were delicious! They have a coconut yogurt vegan bowl that I still crave, and their mushrooms are amazing. I’m honestly so impressed by this little hotel. I stayed at another after my wedding and I had to go back to cosmopolitan to tell the staff how much better everything is, from the staff to the food!! The pros far outweigh the cons but I have to give a heads up to anyone looking to stay here. 1) the location is wonderful because all of the shops and restaurants are walkable and still far enough away from the loud music from some of the bars and lively restaurants. It’s close to the cable car so during the day the foot traffic outside of the hotel doors is awful & shoulder-to-shoulder 2) there is no way to drive up to the hotel so you have to walk about 2-3 mins uphill. The staff do meet you and help with your luggage though. 3) they only serve breakfast & lunch. But there are so many restaurants that this isn’t that big of a problem. I would stay here again!

Small luxury hotel that offered gr8 service. Only thing to note: it is not reachable by road and you have to walk on pebble street which is very inconvenient on a hot day with wheeled luggage. Make an arrangement with the hotel to come and fetch you from the meeting point.
