I had high expectations given all of the reviews I had read and I have to say that the reality was even better. From the friendly, helpful emails exchanged before coming to Seville to the warm greeting on arrival and the cheery greetings at breakfast each morning we could not have been made to feel more welcome. The hotel operates from within a building with rooms arranged around two restored covered courtyards. Our room was stylish and spacious enough for our six night stay. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. My only minor gripe… I wish hotels would do away with showers over baths and provide modern powerful standalone arrangements. The hotel is situated on a relatively quiet side street but close to the river and very central. We walked easily to all of the main attractions of Seville within 20 minutes. Breakfast was served in an elegantly decorated room on the ground floor by staff who were charming and attentive. It is a boutique hotel so perhaps the selection is a bit smaller than in larger hotels but that was more than compensated by the quality and the service. This is not the place for you if you are after a more corporate international environment with a gym and a pool but if you value location, elegance, quality and service then it most definitely is.
