Unbelievable! They do not provide air conditioning this time of the year. The room was so hot we couldn’t sleep, and opening the window just let in street noise and bright lights. The “solution” was a tiny fan that did nothing. We stayed here just one night before a flight, hoping to rest comfortably, what a mistake. For the amount we paid, this was absolutely unacceptable. Easily one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had.

Staff were entirely unhelpful. They did not admit me to my room because my friend in China did not have her passport. She lives in Hangzhou, had a picture of her passport and her work visa, but they wouldn't allow us to check in. No refund was given.

I have stayed at this property multiple times. It is close to PVG Terminal 1. They provide regular shuttle service to the airport. If you are up to it, you can walk to and from Terminal 1. It is consistently a great option on either end of a trip.
