Nice, clean, air conditioned rooms with working windows and sliders. Bathroom and kitchen well stocked. House keeping service was excellent. Pools and landscaping beautiful. Towel service. Lots of food choices. I enjoyed the resort very much.

the room was smelling bet like sewage not agreeable. and the lady at the front desk was not nice at toll. she even can't explain. to us where the room was located.. we book by Expedia the same nicht .and i will never book true Expedia again. because they lying to us about the price. first they give a offer 130 $ than they and op charging $150+ and when we check the room it was not wat we expect atoll. With sewage smell. So we decide to cancel but the platform was not allow us to cancel so we find this a Rip off. and we dint stay there we go to the next door hotel witch was the Hilton flamingo. ho really provide to us wat we was looking for a nice room with a good odor and room very easy to find. . so we stay there for the rest of or vacation

I had a 7 night stay at this resort when I get there I realize my ac wasn’t working as it should and without the ceiling fan the room wouldn’t cold I report this issues they say they will get it fix nxt day I see it was leaking in the closet area I report it again on the third night I called the front desk n I told them I’m really hot here n it’s not working I didn’t want to move because I had a early trip to Anguilla n would be no til later in the night. I wanted a good night sleep so they offer an additional fan then I change my mind n tel her to move me she found 2 room my husband went and check them out I pack all our stuff n ready to move then I got a called saying no to take everything as they only moving me for the night I was upset n I say at this point I wanna sleep when I get bk I will deal with the moving again I asked y would we have to move again she say because the room was in a different part and was a bigger room I said ok. The following day my husband got a call on his wats app n they apologized for the inconvenience and say they will let us stay in the room they move us to ( upgraded stay) apart from tht the front desk staff n everyone was so warm n friendly i would definitely stay again on my nxt visit to st martin

The front desk was super slow and disorganized. They said our room would be ready in 2 hours but 15 minutes later a bellman said our room was ready and put us in a van. We told him no they said 2 Hours. He insisted we go with him. He took us to someone else’s room and then blamed us. We didn’t have keys or know the room number. We told him that. He again insisted he help us find out correct room. We just wanted out of his van. He wouldn’t let us. Very strange. The resort is run down. The beach is not nice. Not a place to sit and enjoy. The area is crowded. Breakfast was ok. Not much variety. The pools areas were not clean. The gym costs! They did not tell us that. They told us the hours and that was it. We were surprised when they tried to charge us. Overall I would not recommend. Stay somewhere else. It’s cheap for a reason.

Worst Simpson Bay Resort Experience

I arrived to check in at 8:00PM, met a young man at the front desk who clearly didn't feel like working. Attitude & work ethic left much to be desired. Wasn't given a key to B275 because machine was down. Was told in 15 minutes, it should be back up. Got to the room, master key of 2 security officers failed to open the door. Maintenence was summoned who arrived 20 minutes later. After 25 minutes of failed attempts with his laptop to open the door, agreed to my request, to ask front desk for a change of room. Had to go back to front desk in pouring rain. Given B170 but still no key and no umbrella. Entered the room nearly 10:00PM, after security was able to open the door of the 2nd room. Entered the room and it was clear that the room was not cleaned or was not completely cleaned or was cleaned in a rush. The roilet bowl and seat, which was still up, had urine on it. The garbage from previous guest was still there including empty soap boxes in the shower, etc. The hand towel and at least one wash cloth was visibly used. And through all this, not a single apology. I shared the photos with a colleague who called the hotel & that prompted a call from front desk. By this time, I was too angry, too tired and already soaked by the rain. So i told the young lady who called that I would write to the GM. I sat around the kitchen counter top until 5:30AM, i.e., time to leave the hotel for the airport. Had many visits to the resort before w/issues, changed rooms. BUT THIS IS MY LAST

The room was filthy and had a terrible odor. Staff was not welcoming. Loud noise at all times. The property of the resort was worn. It is laughable that Simpson Bay is considered a resort due to the overall disappointment of the property. The property and staff needs attention if they are looking for future tourists.
