The Aerotel Singapore was a life-saver for us on our trip back from London to Auckland. We were delayed departing London, and were very sleep deprived when we arrived in Singapore. Thankfully we had remembered to pack everything we needed in our carry-on luggage, and found the Aerotel quite easily. We were surprised to find there were no windows or natural light in our room, but that was the only slight disappointment. The room was a good size, the beds and pillows very comfortable with nice linen, and a nicely updated bathroom also. We slept for 5 hours, then went for a swim in the pool (towels, showers and changing rooms available pool-side) had a shower, and enjoyed our complimentary meal in the lounge. We only needed to check out 30 minutes before we were due to board our connection. By the time we did that, we were feeling completely refreshed and ready for the final leg of what had been a very long journey. This hotel is brilliant if you have a few hours between flights at Changi - absolute game-changer. Big thanks to all the staff who were very helpful and lovely to deal with.

got good rest

room was huge, carpet color choice is dark but shows old age, toiletries very minimum, toilet and shower are clean, room lighting was dark and bad, singapore air jets are outside my room window view (my jet is ready for me), free all day breakfast was ok (scrambled mushy eggs, one hash brown, 4 pieces canadian bacon, etc.) I saw many delicious food courts in the airport, we stayed overnight to see Changri for its beauty and we chose this hotel due to its convenience for two very tired traveller like us, we got separate beds we slept well.

We arrived at the hotel around 11:30pm. Our connecting flight was at 8am the following morning. After being shown to our rooms we promptly went to bed however a few minutes later the sound of jackhammers commenced which seemed to be right outside our room and kept us awake for the next 2 hours until staff were able to successfully have the airport suspend the building works. While staff informed us that they had not been aware that the airport was undergoing building works and did their best to have the work stopped, which they did after a couple of hours it was impossible to sleep with the noise, totally defeating the whole purpose of booking the rooms.

Just what we needed during our layover to recharge. Complimentary meals were very much appreciated. The only thing our room was missing that we were after was a fridge, to cool breast milk for our baby in between flights.
