Terrible service from the manager.

Bad experience with washing machine. Took more than 3.5hrs to do washing and dry the clothes. Staff member was nice but manager very rude & not helpful.

I mostly enjoyed my stay at this property, though I noticed a few issues. The hallways and common areas of the hotel all small very bad. Fortunately, it didn’t come into the room. Though the rooms are beautiful, the showers are nearly impossible to use if you aren’t a very slim person. I had to shower with the door open because there was no way for my to get inside and close the door. Also, the elevators are very loud. My rooms was right outside of them and I could constantly hear them throughout the night, which was disruptive. Otherwise, the room was clean and beautiful, and the pool and bar areas are wonderful.

A bit of disappointment

Overall not a pleasant experience. Booked a queen bed room, but was told only twin bed room for available. The hotel compensated me with buffet breakfast which i thought was acceptable. However the buffet restaurant was over crowded as early as 7:30am. Had to dine at the overflow room, and ovserved unpleasant scene of other diners who had to dined at any available untaken spot such as counter table, and any empty vacant space (not proper dining table and chair).

Everyone knows Singapore’s property prices are amongst the highest in the world. Hence, rooms are generally small for the money. Trying to find accomodation that takes three people is tricky. Trying to find one that is thoughtfully designed to take more than two people at a time is also particularly difficult. In this case, the room layout and furnishings worked for us - 1 adult male, a 6’ tall teenage male and an 11 year old girl. Two of us slept upstairs on the double while the teenaged male slept in the sofa bed. The bathroom/toilet were small but no real complaints. Housekeeping services were top notch.

The sofa bed for my daughter was the most uncomfortable bed she has ever slept on. She ended up sleeping on the loft mattress unstairs and i slept on the spfa bed. Worst 3 nights sleep

Close to local foods, shopping mall, and MRT. Everything in the bedroom is good except the shower area got a lot of black mold and fridge isn’t cold. Lastly, TV can’t be watched. The room isn’t soundproof.

More underwhelming than expected… was under the impression that 4* means higher end look and feel but this was not the case. The walls are incredibly thin, i could hear the next door shower/toilet as if it was at the end of my bed. As part of their sustainability endeavours they have gotten rid of paper based comms which is great but there is no Do Not Disturb signs so housekeeping was disturbing at 9am through no fault of their own, the hotel management should take care of this, considering the rooms have stairs, i wasn't getting out of bed to answer the door, which made the situation even noisier 😄 The food is average at best. The xmas decorations are a random mix. The pool and gym areas are super small, just a tickbox exercise and dont seem looked after. The whole place has a dated vibe. The staff was very nice and helpful, from the reception to breakfast and cleaning and i even got a free upgrade and early checkin which was great.

Well rounded functional hotel good for a pied-a-terre during a business or leisure trip. Decent gym with sturdy cardio equipment but only very light weights. The outdoor pool area is nice and functional on the 7th floor to squeaze in a quick swim. Obviously dining options at the hotel itself are limited but there is plenty of options around. Did not get the breakfast so cannot give an opinion but overheard comments along the lines of “decent quality but limited choice” while riding the lift with breaky-goers.
