I stayed two nights at this hotel. The facility, accommodations, and food provided good value for the cost. It's close to public transportation, mall, restaurants, and attractions. The only complaint was the front desk staff lacked a personal touch.

Perfect for a solo trip and best location

Perfect Loft room for 1. I would not stay if there were 2 of us, it would be too cramped. But Location, Location, Location!! The best and I know Singapore so well. Yes perfect for my solo trip this time and all I needed to do in the area and in the city as well as Orchard Road... everywhere reachable by a max of 4 direct MRT stops away. MRT station a 5 min walk across the road! Very new, clean and convenient.

Minute rooms, teeny tiny beds, no storage, and I do mean NO storage. No privacy..stay as acouple that doesnt mind, or get 2 rooms. No hotel info at check in or in room. Could not find breakfast restaurant and concluded there wasnt one untill too late on last day. Small bar, extortionate pricing.

When we arrived at the hotel at 530 pm our room was not ready and we were asked to wait -no offer of explanation or complimentary beverage. We had reserved a deluxe queen room, instead we were given a cramped two level unit with barely enough room for a futon mattress on the upper floor. The mattress was literally on the floor with walls on three sides, my closet space in college was bigger. Certainly not what I had expected from an Accord property.

This hotel has a great pool and rooftop garden. The staff are friendly and attentive and the location is excellent. So why the poor rating? It's the rooms. Firstly let me state that I'm used to small rooms I'd been sharing a twin room on a cruise for the previous 11 nights that was smaller. What made the room so awful was the toilet and shower. There was no room to change in them and you couldn't shut the shower door. In a shared room that meant one of us had to go out while the other showered and changed. The toilet had no brush and was the worst low flow toilet I had ever used, nothing moved even after repeated flushing. Finally the power socket has a habit of randomly ejecting from the socket.

Terrible service from the manager.

Bad experience with washing machine. Took more than 3.5hrs to do washing and dry the clothes. Staff member was nice but manager very rude & not helpful.

I mostly enjoyed my stay at this property, though I noticed a few issues. The hallways and common areas of the hotel all small very bad. Fortunately, it didn’t come into the room. Though the rooms are beautiful, the showers are nearly impossible to use if you aren’t a very slim person. I had to shower with the door open because there was no way for my to get inside and close the door. Also, the elevators are very loud. My rooms was right outside of them and I could constantly hear them throughout the night, which was disruptive. Otherwise, the room was clean and beautiful, and the pool and bar areas are wonderful.

A bit of disappointment

Overall not a pleasant experience. Booked a queen bed room, but was told only twin bed room for available. The hotel compensated me with buffet breakfast which i thought was acceptable. However the buffet restaurant was over crowded as early as 7:30am. Had to dine at the overflow room, and ovserved unpleasant scene of other diners who had to dined at any available untaken spot such as counter table, and any empty vacant space (not proper dining table and chair).

Everyone knows Singapore’s property prices are amongst the highest in the world. Hence, rooms are generally small for the money. Trying to find accomodation that takes three people is tricky. Trying to find one that is thoughtfully designed to take more than two people at a time is also particularly difficult. In this case, the room layout and furnishings worked for us - 1 adult male, a 6’ tall teenage male and an 11 year old girl. Two of us slept upstairs on the double while the teenaged male slept in the sofa bed. The bathroom/toilet were small but no real complaints. Housekeeping services were top notch.
