The hotel is very handy to the MRT and a food court. The breakfast is a reasonable price and in a nice setting. The air conditioning settings are a bit hit and miss

Customer service at the check out was bad. No smile and rude. After the front desk person asked what the customer needs, she just handed over to her coworker to do the job and without telling the customer what's going on. It happened twice. When I went back for the Reciept, she did it again. She asked what's the matter and then handed over to her coworker to do without saying anything to me so i can move over. Customer service was bad.

There is a food court, juice bar and all the usual fast food outlets downstairs and a small supermarket on the next block over. V Lavender is primarily useful as a short term doss house because it is super handy to the airport MRT line. The bed was comfy enough for a couple of hours sleep before heading back out to the airport. Note that MRT trains do not start until 6am.
