Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in September 2022 and overall had a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, our flight didn’t arrive till around 2:30am and I’d booked the transfers offered by the hotel at €23 each way, that states the driver would meet us on arrival. We were then forced to wait for nearly an hour in a totally empty terminal building, with me having to make numerous calls to get a driver to collect us. The taxi on the return journey wasn’t much better, we were provided with I can only describe as a death trap, with no working seat belts and a car that had been long life expired. Anyway we were first put into our room (504) and although it was exceptionally small, was fine for 1 night, until I contacted reception and got it changed to a far more suitable room (530), with a side sea view. Hotel is deceptively large, spotlessly clean and helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast is buffet style with sausage, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, fried tomatoes, crispy bacon, beans and also a full compliment of continental breakfast options, which was really enjoyable every day. It’s located right on the sea front, around a 15” walk around the bay from the main tourist bars and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend getting a sea view room.

Very well situated for restaurants, buses, tours and swimming in the sea. We were given a lovely room overlooking the sea with a balcony. The room and bathroom were not big but they were totally adequate for our needs and of a good standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet had enough choice and was of a good standard (Covid requirements being observed). The coffee was of a good standard. It was great having a pool but the pool area could do with a revamp to make it more appealing. Some healthy plants maybe. The pool bar was shut which was a shame. The only thing that annoyed me was that if you used the fridge in your room it was at a charge of 3.50 euros per day. We didn’t use it but it was running all the time! They should drop this charge and the charge for using the tea and coffee facilitate in the room. I had a cup of coffee a few mornings and was happy that they didn’t try to charge me for this on leaving. These facilities should be free if you have paid for a better room. All in all the hotel was great and we had a comfortable time whilst staying there and slept well. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Bland hotel, bland customer service, my friend was charged for drinks she didnt have. Not sure I would stay again.

Hotels location is great for restaurants and bars

Functional....

Hotel location is good, waterfront location with bus stops outside. However, we booked a double room and were put in a twin room. The Hotel itself is okay, but certain areas seem to be in need of modernization. If you don't want to be put in a twin room, I recommend avoiding. Seems to be plenty other hotels in the area.

good location fair value hotel

Room was a bit small and not well planned.i.e. electric switch and lights behind doors. Breakfast was a value buffet style. Staff friendly .Good central location .Overall very fair value for money in a friendly island with good restaurants nearby.

Christmas Break in Malta

Plaza Hotel gave excellent service in a constant spirit of friendliness and courtesy. I completely enjoyed my stay there. I would recommend this hotel to any person wanting to come for a holiday to Malta. The room was comfortable and clean, the food good and sustaining, the location ideal, the staff always professional and friendly, the stay a memorable experience. Ten out of ten.

Tuttu ja turvallinen, viides kerta täällä. Ei luksusta mutta perusmukavaa asumista ja sijainti parhaalla paikalla. Kaikki palvelut lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä.
