Clean, comfortable modest room with m/w, fridge and coffee pot as well as custom tiled shower and Hollywood themed decor. The on-site "paid" parking lot is very small, maybe accommodating 14 small to midsize cars and 2 motor cycles. As a single female traveler, I didn't feel comfortable in this area of downtown, to risk losing my check-in parking spot by going into town to dine/shop, before turning in, because I'd have to use an off-site "paid" parking lot and walk back to the hotel alone, so I used Door Dash to order food in and chose not to go shopping. This would not have been an isdue had I not been traveling alone, however. The cafe next door, Rosie's, for which I was given a credit for breakfast was quote good and the staff there were very courteous and professional.

Parking was horrendous, I had to park a block up in a parking lot that was poorly lit and walk past a homeless camp to get to the hotel at 11 pm. The bathroom had clumps of black hair all over the wall and shower (I have blond hair). No one cleaned my room or even gave me clean towels. I was gone all day Sunday and no one checked my room.

1950-60's motel revamped & made hip...

Nice place with a Rock 'n Roll vibe. Great staff, friendly & helpful. Complimentary breakfast is also provided directly next door at what I believe is their supplemental business. No stale, cellophane wrapped Danish here folks. Eggs, sausage, etc.... Room was clean & quiet (although if things went sidewise they had considerately provided ear plugs :-))

All the staff at the hotel, rosies restaurant, and the sapphire lounge were hard working, kind, welcoming folks. However, my bathroom had multiple things that needed attention. One of the lights had burnt out, and the fan didnt stay on longer than 30 seconds, even using "hold" or "30 minute" settings. Loved the people, the room was average.

Great stay

I really appreciate the front desk staff Daniela (sorry if I didn’t get the name spelled correctly)! The text message service is indeed needed and so easy to communicate back and forth. All of my requests got responded quickly and solved. The location is good for me to attend my conference at the convention center. Hope to go back there again next time!
