The room we upgraded to and paid for did not have heat so we had to take a standard room. No refund or reimbursement from the hotel. We also had to pay for parking even though we did not have a car. I explained this to front desk and they said it didn’t matter - all guests have to pay for parking regardless. That doesn’t seem right. Shame on Marriott.

I was told that we got a free upgrade and said thank you was excited when person said since we were Bonvoy members we were eligible and when we got to the room it was the same room I reserved. It would have been more acceptable if they would have just said no instead of lying to me

As I booked an overnight stay for my almost 19 year old son, his check in was not smooth. Because I was requested to fill out a Minor Authorization Form, which I was not informed about during and after booking. Then the Form sent was inaccessible and I had to struggle to get it filled, signed and sent.. All this when my son was waiting at the check-in counter for almost an hour after a more than 15 hours flight. Not cool.

Super hotel. We arrived at a bad time. Their computers were down and we had no keys for our room and no statement when we checked out. Security had to take us to our room and let us in and the security person had no idea where our room was located.
