Staff was wonderful. Room is sweet and on pretty piece of water. Aging property, but well kept. Quiet, clean, good shower, comfy beds. Quick trip to key west. Great deal for the money. Very happy this is where we landed.

Yes, the room were fairly clean, bathrooms are kind of old and a bit rusty, but the rooms are nice spacious , great view, nice balcony, the reception people did not seem to know a lot about the surroundings or be willing to share info, only had one map of key west, they could be a bit more 'tourist oriented'!

Very nice property. Owner/Staff were fantastic. I love the life-long effort the family has put into the property. View off the deck is great. Free, good, coffee at the Tiki Bar in the mornings. Overall, the mid-century modern aesthetic is awesome in my opinion. All items worked. Ice machine, ice bucket, clean (linens, room, floors, surfaces, bath fixtures) and a farmer's market outside on Wednesdays. Really a great spot with a short drive to Key West. We will return.

We had a great stay at the Sugar Loaf. Room was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view from our balcony. Yes, rooms are dated but we liked the nostalgia. We will stay here again the next time we visit the Keys.

Room was by clean enough. No coffee maker, no microwave. Tiki bar was never open except for coffee in the morning (self serve). Cleaning staff do not make beds. View was great, as were front desk staff. Grounds were clean and well maintained.
