Nice place, pity about the bed!

I had a single bed room, and while everything about the place was great in terms of cleanliness, location, amenities and noise levels, sleeping on the bed was like sleeping on a plank. Pillows were just as bad.

Great location and value for money, cute art deco styling. Reception was very friendly and check in and check out was smooth. 24 hour coffee and tea station in lobby was appreciated. This was my second stay here and both times the rooms have been clean, tidy, airconditioned and have everything you’d need in a hotel.

57 Hotel, Surrey Hills Stay

Lovely hotel…, except that the water takes at least 2 minutes and as much as 4 minutes to warm up…, very wasteful, not eco friendly! “The wake up call” around 6am, was the sound like a propelled aeroplane being chased by a police car with siren coming from, I think, down the duct of the bathroom exhaust fan. Other than these two things it was pleasant.
