Great location, just a short walk north of the central train station and steps from the light rail (trams) that will take you to Circular Key. Still walkable to Circular Key and buses to anywhere you might want to go. Lots of good restaurants and shopping nearby. Hotel is quiet and clean, rooms are small but have everything you need (including a coffee machine and separate kettle with a range of teas provided and refreshed during our two night stay). Bed was comfortable. I would happily stay here again.

Excellent service at reception, friendly and very accommodating. The room was clean but perhaps needed a little bit more attention on the vacuuming but I am being picky. One of the bath towels had a stain mark as well. Will stay here again, convenient location to Central Station and Haymarket with LR stop in front.

The staff was helpful, but the cleanliness is so bad. The mugs cannot be used without washing first as they all have tea stains in them. The duvet has a large stain. There was a paper tag on the floor in the corner of the room when we checked in, and it was still there when we checked out. The coffee machine and the bathroom mirror were covered with dust. Good that the towels are clean.

Really friendly staff also the eco sustainable discount, if you skip daily housekeeping. A better selection of non alcoholic beverages on offer would be appreciated (e.g. zero alcohol beers).

The king bed was comfy but the pillows were all so high we couldn’t lie flat properly. The room advertised looked medium sized but the actual room was tiny, with a small window that looked out onto air conditioning and structures on roofs. Breakfast was part of the package but less than I thought would be offered for the price. We paid above $400 for this room and were disappointed that we could have stayed in a hotel with a bigger room that was cheaper with more facilities. The staff were all so lovely however and it was close to the Capitol Theatre where we saw a show. Overall, for the price we paid, it didn’t meet expectations.

Staff are wonderful and the location is pretty much unbeatable. The bed is comfy and the aircon is also really good when it's hot outside. Unfortunately there are a few issues. There is only one elevator up to the higher floors and it's pretty slow too arrive. The room and bathroom both need a very thorough deep clean as there was a large amount of very old, grey dust build up and stains. Although tea/coffee is provided, there are no teaspoons etc, house keeping did not refill. The shower was terrible and pretty frustrating. Very low pressure (like I've had infants drool on me with greater force) and inconsistent heating - would regularly lose all heat. I would consider staying again if there were major discounts as the location and staff were lovely!
