Great location. Easy walk to the beach, coastal walk, or catch the local buses. Room was spotless. Housekeeping did great job sprucing up room each morning. Enjoyed having the balcony to relax on at night. Air conditioning in room was a bit temperamental. I would set the temperature to the lowest setting to cool the room down, and sometimes the room temperature would actually get hotter. It worked fine most of the time except my last night. No elevator in the Bay side was a challenge for carrying luggage (thankfully reception helped during check in), was a nuisance upon checking out - was given fair warning, but can imagine this being an issue for limited mobility guests. As a light sleeper, I personally had no issues with noise from bars during the weeknights, music and noise ended at reasonable hours.

Room was nice, 2 out of 3 lamps did not work, battery in the remote tv needed changing, staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Were advised that room was noisy as above bar and did we want to upgrade, in hindsight should have done this!

Loved our stay with a balcony overlooking the beer garden which had such great vibes, see the ocean too and room was clean and comfortable. Loved the whole area of Coogee. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great hotel. Close proximity to the beach and lots of walkable food options. Only con is the loud pub at night however it’s pretty muffled from the room we were in and wasn’t loud too late.

The hotel is great, room lovely, staff really pleasant and friendly. It is just the noise. I knew the hotel already but had not stayed there before. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night in the hotel, not the boutique part, so this probably made it worse. Our room overlooked the garden bar. I knew there would be some noise but did not anticipate how noisy and how late the noise would go on for. The room was lovely and had a fantastic veranda and view, but the noise from the bar and the kitchen set up just outside the door by our bed, did detract from the enjoyment of the stay.
