Disappointed restaurant and room service only during the week, so wasnt available. This wasnt clear. Communication wasnt easy, I sent numerous messages and tried to call and no response. example - I sent a message requesting portacot, no acknowledgement and I made other arrangements, then showed up with a portacot in the room - good thing was that I wasnt charged.

This is a good location near the line rail to get around. But it is a bit outdated. There was pealing paint and missing wall paper. But bed comfy it was clean and staff friendly

Good for an overnight stay

On an overnight trip for a concert, I booked three rooms and one of them got ‘lost’ in the system. The check in staff member was so helpful and diligently worked away to find our missing booking with a smile and great sense of humor. The room was basic and the beds slide too easily resulting in one of the kids getting a massive bruise on his shin. The shower was great and toiletries freshly stocked and smelt nice. The pool was great for the kids in the morning and the staff around were all lovely.

The room did not meet the description of the list or photos, there were no table/chairs or couch in the room, and upon asking we were advised that they no longer provide that. Photos and listings should have been updated then. Dirty cups and utensils were not cleaned when room was serviced.

Was welcomed by someone who did not have a smile on their face, not welcoming at all and no motivation and showed he didn’t want to be there. Only way to the rooms was the lifts which took ages. Got to room which was spacious but the bathroom, although clean, was old and really needs and upgrade as does the rest of the hotel. Went for breakfast the next day, which had limited seating and limited eating options and even the options that were there tasted horrible, didn’t bother going the next day. Did not have enough staff and had to wait to ask for help from one of them and when I did get her attention finally and asked her for warm milk she flagged me off to say wait I’m busy, didn’t come back either and didn’t get what I want. When I checked out the next day, when to the front desk and the lady had food in her mouth while talking to me, most unprofessional! And she said ok nothing to pay and I had to tell her that I had parking and then she charged me for it. I booked the Mercure for the name but looking at the staff and service, so unprofessional and the condition of the hotel, I’ll think many many times before I book any Mercure again as photos can be dceeciving!
