The hotel is at a very convenient spot, walkable to lots of destinations! A short walk to Darling Harbour (for Saturday night fireworks), Chinatown (lots of restaurants), Townhall and QVB for sightseeing, and a short taxi ride to Sydney Opera House and the area. The breakfast at the hotel has lots of options and taste good, and the breakfast package pricing was good. The restaurant for breakfast has a great view and comfy seating. The room we had was the 1bedroom executive suite and it was spacious and nice.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, it’s the second time I’ve stayed and I can genuinely say that Parkroyal really do have a great offering. It’s a close walking distance to Darlinf Quarter, it has its own road - so it’s quite easy to get to without having to drive into the city. Parking has options, and if you valet park it - $65 is much more reasonable than other properties I’ve stayed at. The service was quick and polite, and despite a rush for everyone’s car to come up it was very efficient. I love the fact check in is at 2pm and check outs at 11am. Usually there’s a 4 hour gap between the two. The beds were comfortable, the in room amenities were fantastic, and the hydration station is a fantastic addition. I’ll definitely make this my hotel of choice when staying in the city again. I’ve stayed at nearly if not all the 5 star properties (including working at one) and while this doesn’t classify as 5 star, it’s now my favourite. I could comment on the lighting in bathrooms as when trying to do make up it’s a nightmare - but find me a hotel that doesn’t have this issue. I wish I’d stayed longer but it was only for one night. Next time I’ll give the amenities a go.

The location was excellent for me. It was within walking distance to the ferries and train service. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The buffet breakfast had everything. The front staff were very helpful. Location was perfect especially if you don’t have a car.

This hotel exceeded my expectations, it really felt like a five star experience bar the lack of swimming pool. The staff was very attentive, the room was clean and spacious and the buffet breakfast was great. The hotel smelt so nice as well.
