From the moment I arrived via Uber, my experience at The Star was amazing. The valet and concierge staff were so welcoming, kind, and genuinely helpful, even giving me a quick walkthrough of the area and directions to the Sydney Event Centre for a concert that night. Check-in was incredibly smooth. My flight arrived around four hours early, and the team offered to text me if my room became available. I was pleasantly surprised to receive my room about 25 minutes before the 3pm check-in time, which I truly appreciated. On top of that, I was kindly upgraded from a Superior King Room to a Star Premium Suite - I was absolutely over the moon.
The suite was stunning and beautifully spacious. Everything felt thoughtful and well designed, from the fresh, clean aroma to the soft towels, cozy bathroom slippers, and spotless cleanliness. The lighting and air-conditioning controls were perfectly placed, and the bathroom was a dream, complete with a seated vanity area for skincare and makeup. The Karl Lagerfeld bathroom amenities were a gorgeous finishing touch.
The facilities were just as impressive, a well-equipped gym, relaxing pool area, and a spa that was perfect for unwinding.
Checkout was effortless, and the same concierge and valet team were there to assist with my luggage to the Uber.
