Great location in the Haymarket not far from China town and the trams. Apartment was clean and well equipped. Although there was blinds at all the windows it was quite bright at night so if you like to sleep in darkness use an eye mask. There was air con units running outside but not all night. We didn't see the person on reception often, he did arrange a taxi for us but it never turned up

We stayed in the Heritage Suit 2 bedroom. Beds & pillows very comfortable. The shower hot with good pressure. If you want to watch TV or just sit in the lounge room the seating is inadequate. The lounge is not a lounge it is a sloping bed which at most will seat 2. Apart from that there is a small window seat. Luckily we were only staying 1 night, otherwise would have to have congregated in the main bedroom to be entertained. Valentine on George is in a great location with an easy walk to Central Station. Staff very friendly.

The property looks dismal from outside and there is only someone at reception after check-in time so I couldn't get out of the heat 30 minutes early. However, once in, I found the room excellent. The bathroom was modern and the bed comfortable. The room was serviced. The light switches were a bit confusing and one was hidden at floor level

Perfect for what I needed, ie close to central station and reasonable price for CBD hotel. Room was clean and modern. Staff friendly. Only minor issue I had was it’s the first time in ages I’ve had a hotel room with no cable TV or facility to stream to hotel telly. Not make or break on an over nighter but would be for longer stay. Good eating options close by.
