Great location to sights but tired hotel

Pros: Great location and helpful staff
Cons: Some money needs to spent on maintenance and amenities to take the hotel to the next level.
Location: Excellent. A few minutes walk to the town square
First let me say the location was excellent for touring the old city and the staff helpful. The hotel is a bit tired and in need of some maintenance. Worn carpets in entry way, old bedspreads, knicked furniture, etc. I don't know if it's rated as a 4 star hotel but is more like a 3 star hotel. Breakfast foods were plentiful but the quality wasn't that good. Also, it would be nice to have a tea kettle and some instant coffee/teas in the rooms for convenience.

Centrally located hotel, old charm and ambiance, friendly staff, sweet little rooms and bathrooms. Bed was not too comfortable but this is rather subjective. Breakfast was ok.

Lovely old fashioned boutique hotel

Brilliant hotel with great staff, ample breakfast. Just a shame that the bar closes too early.

Xmas Break

Very convenient for old town and all the staff we met were great and spoke perfect English (as do most Estonians). Breakfast was plentiful and varied but the bedrooms were a bit of a let down. Don't expect much if you choose a suite, they're tired and pretty basic. Also, be aware that Tallinn is quite an expensive city to eat and drink in, particularly within the old town.

This is "our" hotel. It really doesn't get any better than this. Nice hotel in the middle of the old town. A short distance to all the places we need, lots of restaurants around, etc. The rooms are high quality enough, the price-quality ratio is great. Hopefully the price won't go up, that's one of the main reasons we choose this hotel.
