Great stay. Cleaning staff, restaurant staff and everything else was great. Sophia at check in needs to smile and welcome arrivals. We felt like we had turned up at the wrong place.
Lovely views, warm and quiet, well positioned. We had a great meal at the restaurant.

Room was warm and clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. There were a few maintenance issues with the room such as corroded remote batteries, phone not working and the door lock constantly jamming which staff helped with where possible.
It was lovely walking out over the road in the morning onto the lake edge. What a scene with the mountains in the background and the lake like a millpond.

Beautiful views across the lake to the hills.
Convenient to town centre and splendid Te Anau Golf course where we hired a golfcart to play their picturesque treed fairways with good greens.
The door to the room didn't shut properly. Attended to at the time with some improvement. By day 2 the door didn't shut properly again. On check out the person on reception was dismissive. The door to the bathroom had hinges that needed attention. Again, staff member was dismissive.
