Dan Panorama Tel Aviv produces the goods again !

Pros: friendliness and helpfulness of majority of senior management team - fantastic breakfast and festival and Sabbath meals at dinner
Cons: housekeeping and front desk bar Ralph who is sooo helpful :-)
Location: close to carmel market; old train station which now has some restaurants; bars and shops and the craft market at nachlat binyamina;

Lovely Family Hotel great for kids

yet another visit to the same hotel which we have been visiting for the past 10+ years. the executive and deluxe plus rooms are lovely, particularly the deluxe plus the deluxe rooms are not and should be avoided pay the extra it is worth it. likewise paying for the use of the executive lounge is well worth it and the new manager Liora was very helpful. Gidon in the main dining room along with his assistants Albert Michael and Alex were as always very attentive and helpful, the breakfast is excellent and Oskar at the cooked egg area and Natalie at the coffee area are both stars. the pool area is very good as is the bar though over the succot period access to the bar area is restricted. the hotel is well located for the beach the carmel market (shuk) and just behind the hotel only a 10 minute walk away are loads of restaurants as is the hatachana (old train station) avoid using the hotel car park plenty of others nearby hotel is well positione dot use the motorway network and buses run from behind to the train and bus station. senior management such as Shlomo are very helpful and attentive.

My last time at the Dan Pan

Whilst I might have been to this hotel almost every year for the last seven years, it's amazing how they always make you feel so unwelcome. Charging for a fridge to keep my wife's (life saving) insulin and then having agreed a discount (as they refused to waive the charge) they then refused to uphold the discount when we checked out which lead to an argument in the main reception in front of everyone. It might have only been 'a few NIS' which the manager reminded us of, however he still refused to back down and inferred we were lying. Appalling customer service and they should be ashamed. The pool at the Dan Pan is one of the biggest hotel pools however it's amazing how they let people bring in their own sound systems to play music and disturb all the other guests. The life guards appear more concerned about women tying their hair back than rowdy noisy behaviour. As a positive, the Dan Pan is very well located.

Excellent Hotel at Fair Price

we are repeat customers, having stayed at this hotel at least twice a year for 10 years during which time much of the hotel has been extensively refurbished, the deluxe plus rooms are beautiful. we wouldn't keep coming back if we weren't having a good time? yes you can find fault but only if you have unrealistic expectations. This hotel does and provides exactly what it says on the tin. Ralph at reception Gidon and Michael in dining room and Shlomo an assistant? general manager all went above and beyond their duties as did several of the regular staff in the dining room to name but a few. About the only reasonable gripe is the executive lounge where the food at night is excellent but during the daytime is inadequate and the staff frequently go *missing*. that said I would still pay the extra to use the executive lounge. Proof that we enjoyed our stay, we are already looking to rebook.

Great location

Refurbished rooms excellent, including the bathrooms. Shortage of staff meant rooms not made up on some days till late afternoon, and breakfast was hampered by tables not being cleared quickly. On departure day I needed an alarm call for 4am. This was requested, but it never came! Lucky I woke up on my own, otherwise I could have missed the plane home!

Not 5 star by standards I hold!

Breakfast was blighted by too many tables left to clear due to not enough staff to cope. The same problem caused housekeeping more than once to not having our room made up when we returned to use it's facilities in late afternoon, and not enough towels and bath mat were left for the two of us. However, the worst and final upset was the morning we left. We had placed an alarm call for 4am as we had to leave for the airport as we had an early check in at the airport. Luckily I woke up at 3.50, THE REQUESTED ALARM CALL NEVER CAME!

holiday

Excellent hotel. Only criticism, coud do better on the housekeeping. Does not seem to be co ordinated. One brings towels, another does something else, invaribly something gets missed, tea, coffee facilities not replenished, silly little things are just left. Shame, because the rest of the hotel is fantastic.

Huoneet vaatisivat päivitystä, koska ovat jo kulahtaneita. Allaspyyhkeen varausmaksu ei ole poistunut luottokorttitililtäni, vaikka matkasta on jo kohta 2 viikkoa. Pyyhe on palautettu ajallaan.
