Way overpriced for a studio apartment, the bed was very uncomfortable {hard) & we both developed back issues. The refrigerator was a discrace, broken internal shelves. Car parking was an additional charge per night 💰 We left a day early & forfeited the costs.

Stayed one night in an ocean view room. Wow, what a view!! The room was spacious and could turn into a private bedroom when required due to movable screening. Full laundry if you need. Kitchenette. Didn't get a chance to go to the pool deck. Council car park 10m away, free. The local pub is next door- for was exceptional. Highly recommend the stay.

Room was clean and spacious. The ocean and river view were outstanding. Wonderful proximity to the Entrance concourse and parkland, and easy walks. The bed was spacious and comfortable. The pool tiles and bathroom tiles could use a facelift and repair. We had a problem with the phone which had no power cord. That was reported but was it was not replaced. Also one of two USB charging points was not working. We had a nice balcony. Unfortunately, although the hotel clearly states it is a non-smoking building, some people were smoking on their balconies near us. Suggestion - place non-smoking signs on the balconies.

Upkeep of the property is highly recommended, we arrived late and unfortunately ended up in a room with one side of the bed that was broken, also the air-conditioning was really loud. We also chose to oay for the extra parkinf at $20 a night, it is a very tight car park and there was not many spots to park, you could potentially mark the bays with a number and allocate them to a car based on size, we chose the second overflow car park the second night, not secure but wider and more accommodating spots. The location from the car park into the accommodation is a bit of a maze. The pool and spa was lovely, unfortunately the pool requires fixing as there are broken tiles at the bottom. The gym was potentially under construction. The cost to saty was not in reason I do not think. On a positive, staff were very accommodating and moved us into another room that had a good sturdy bed and all very polite. I love the Oaks but felt a little ket down with this property. Kind regards 🐞

The ocean view room was great. We saw whales from the balcony. The studio room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the pool and spa, the wind was blowing a gale, otherwise it would have been the perfect stay. The staff were excellent, we couldn't work out how to use the tv and I called reception, someone came within 10 minutes to come and show us. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall we were happy with our stay. The ocean view from our balcony was great and we saw whales breaching off shore both afternoons. The building is a bit run down and showing signs of neglect. Our room was comfortable and good size but the bathroom was pretty tired and old fashioned. The phone did not work in our room so we had to use our mobiles to contact reception. The tap over the tub in the bathroom leaked continuously and the manhole in the same room showed signs of a bad leak from the bathroom above and was quite ugly.

Great spot, friendly staff, clean room. Would have been nice to know if room had a balcony with water views rather than view of brick wall. Should have asked if there were accessible rooms. I am 74 and found it difficult to step over high bath to shower. Would definitely book again but ask more questions.
