I had an amazing stay at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku! The location is absolutely perfect — right in the middle of the vibrant Kabukicho area, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and Shinjuku Station. Despite being in such a busy area, the hotel itself feels like a peaceful escape from the city buzz. The Godzilla theme adds a really fun and unique touch. If you’re a fan, definitely book a room with a view of the Godzilla head — it’s a one-of-a-kind experience! The rooms are compact (as expected in Tokyo) but very well-designed, spotless, and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like a mobile phone for guests, a high-tech toilet, and plenty of charging options. Staff were friendly, professional, and spoke good English, which made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. I also loved the security system — you need your room card to access the guest floors, which added an extra level of comfort. Would definitely recommend Hotel Gracery Shinjuku to anyone visiting Tokyo — whether for sightseeing, shopping, or just soaking in the energy of this incredible city. I’ll gladly stay here again!

Rooms were fine. Godzilla floor was fun. However, the deck with the Godzilla head was closed and we couldn’t go out there and see it or take pictures. If I had known before going, we would’ve booked elsewhere.

Save your money for something else

Dont waste your money. Plenty of other hotels in area. If you wanna see godzilla just go the lobby there they didnt stop random people from coming in. Only reason i booked was for outside area with godzilla and it was closed whole time.in terms of service in Osaka the guy did everything helping me ship luggage. Here it was a qr code process and very time consuming. Nice lobby for drinks before heading out. Ammenities were basic also for as much as you pay. Room small even for Japan at the price paid. Save your money. In regards to area tons to do around.

The Gracery is in a great location. We walked to Shinjuku Gardens which was beautiful and we walked to Meiji Shrine. There is plenty of dining in the area. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. We would stay there again.

The staff and cleanliness were good. It is in the middle of the redlight district which is not what we wanted for this trip. Also the rooms were not just extremely small but had no storage at all so lived out of our suitcases the whole trip.

Good hotel, great location.

Great location in the heart of Shinjuku, close to nightlife, restaurants and train stations. Staff were friendly and spoke English. The room was clean but small. Beds and pillows were very firm, so comfort will depend on your preference. Amenities were pretty basic. In-room coffee service was provided, but not refilled after day-1. Not a big deal, since there is a 7/11 right next to the hotel. Overall, a good place to stay for the location, as long as expectations are not too high.

Room was miniscule. We could not open 2 pieces of luggage at the same time. With 1 piece open, it blocked the hallway to the bathroom. Hotel lobby was modern and nicely designed. Breakfast room and bar was very nice. Neighborhood was a bit on the sleezy side. Many stip clubs and what seemed like sex workers. Loud boisterous streets.
