Staff were accommodating when we needed an early check in, due to freezing rain. It was quiet on a Sunday and the hotel was very clean. The room we stayed in was very hot, despite turning the heat down as much as we could, and we didn’t love the pillows. The fire alarm went off at 9pm, apparently due to work being done in the boiler room; that was disruptive. Location was great and we were close to many amenities; and took advantage of the steak house which was a minute walk. Breakfast included was nice, but could use some love as the potatoes were dry, and the hard boiled eggs were also quite dry. Would love to see this hotel add a hot tub but we were still grateful for the indoor pool. Easy check in and check out .

The Keurig Coffee machine made brewing noises, but did not produce any coffee in the cup. We know how to operate Keurig machines and this seems to have been problem with other guests too, and evidenced by other reviews and water in the reservoir before we added any. The $5 charge for parking seemed unnecessary and perhaps even petty, so purely for the optics, we would have preferred for this parking charge to be added to the room rate so that we were unaware of it's existence.
