Food was terrible. Overcrowded with elderly people who were very rude, speaking in spanish even though when said we dont. Customer service very bad, may be good with spanish and british people.

The hotel was very clean and well decorated. Staff very friendly always on hand to help . Lots of activities for the children and kids club and plenty of activities pool side for the adults as well as children. Staff worked very hard and long hours . Beautiful hotel with beach across the road highly recommend the hotel .

The hotel is right opposite the beach and it’s lovely. The entertainment staff, restaurant staff are all friendly and helpful. The bar staff are approachable and loved David.j.s as he was always happy and welcoming. The reception staff was always confused and under pressure. At times I saw when new people had come to check in there was only 1 staff handling everyone and I don’t feel like that’s professional. Overall hotel is amazing and great places nearby. I would have liked more of a vegetarian option too.

Value for money

Lovely clean gotel, public areas have been renovated and are lovely. Rooms could be cheered up a little

Torremolinos is an under rated resort town. And Puente Real allows you to experience it at the quieter end of town. Torremolinos has fabulous beaches with lots of Chiringuitos spread along the sea front. There’s a seaside pathway all the way along from Benalmedena to Hotel Puente Real. There are lots of tatty tourist shops. There’s a good train line running from Malaga through the train station and onto Fuengirola. There are great shops near Puente Real in Plaza Major. Everything you need for a holiday in the sun. Puente Real has been partially refurbished since our last visit, rooms are the same, mine 2510, a superior had a fantastic sea view, balcony, bath and mini bar. The lobby and restaurant are freshly designed and attractive. Food was excellent, we normally eat out even on half board but stayed in because quality was so high. On our last visit the Maitre D was pretty grumpy, now there a very pleasant professional chap - a big improvement. Some guests are smokers, an issue for my sister sandwiched between two chain smoking rooms and suffering from the associated smells (and constant coughing).. perhaps hotel could ban smoking from balconies as well as rooms? In summary a good hotel with great food and great views of the long Torremolinos beach and fish restaurants. Will return. Thank you.
