Brought my 84 y/o mother to the restaurant (visiting from out of town on Thanksgivings) and they served ROTTEN food. The waiter acknowledged the food was rotten and said he couldnt do anything about it because it was all like that.

Staff at front desk check in was very pleasant and professional. Sheets didn’t seem very white or crisp. TV in front room was too complicated. I prefer just turning a set on, like the one in the bedroom. I don't want to deal with learning a whole new protocol for a 1 night visit. Scheduled a 4am wake up call & 4:30 am shuttle. Wake up call came at 4:13am. We were a few minutes late for van. Very nice driver.

We have stayed here a couple of times before and really enjoyed our stay. But it appears the quality of the hotel has diminished. The wooden shutters that cover the front door were broken in places and don't fully close. When we entered the room it was blazing hot, like the heater was on! I turned on the AC but we could barely feel the cold air. I eventually called the front desk only to be told to "open a window or the front door"!! We were offered a fan and someone from the hotel opened the balcony window which did help a bit. One of the elevators was not working and the buttons to the other one were loose. My husband uses a cane and needs the elevator. The staff were very pleasant considering what they had to work with. We will not be returning to this hotel.
