Retro fun

Comfortable room, and funky breakfast of oatmeal (with lots of topping choices) and pop tarts. Could've done with a couple more options though. Nice to get a free drink on arrival. Great art work around the property. Eclectic. A luggage rack would have been nice as space was tight. Also not a fan of early check-in charges.

A surprising find. Couldnt' love it more.

This place was a fantastic find. So many fun things to do here. Murals made it super artsy and the pool was clean and the perfect place to hang out on a very very hot day. Room wirh a kitchenette was a nice upgrade. If I had to find one thing to make it better i would add a guest laundry. Close to National Parks and downtown.

Welcoming abd Relaxed

We loved this trip to Tucson! Staying at Hotel McCoy made everything so much easier. The most comfy place with art all around, nice people, a welcome relaxed staff and plenty to keep hubs busy while I worked. So nice! The pool and bar were a lovely stop in the evening and there are lots of photo op walls for memory making. I loved the ck in and ck out features!

Artistic, Vintage, New Age Amenities

The property has a vintage look and feel with unique one of a kind art everywhere you look. When you drive through the archway, you go back in time. Every wall has local artists' work. The check in office, bar, gym, gaming area, pool, and each room are all filled with one of a kind art pieces. It seems to be a storage facility converted and renovated to be a hotel. The bar offers a wide range of beers, wines and kambutcha. They have tamales and grilled cheese as well as some snacks available. Their gym is small but has free weights and 4 machines, including a treadmill. Their gaming area has 4 vintage arcade games. The room was comfortable and had a kitchenette in it stocked with pots, pans, and all kinds of utensils. Despite this, I would say this isnt a stay in your room hotel. With the bar, outside sitting area and pool, you are meant to explore the property, enjoy a drink, and take in all the art around you. I have been meaning to stay here for some time, but as I am generally in town for business I have not had the chance. I am glad I made the trek from my office to stay here. That being said this is not your typical hotel. The floors are not tile or carpet give it an industrial feel. They do have area rugs under the beds. They have eco-friendly lotion, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers. The staff is friendly and helpful. The down side for my trip was the wifi in the room I was in was poor. When sitting in in the bar or outside area, the wifi was fine.

The air conditioner was an old window unit that you see in a small bedroom of a home. Not a typical commercial unit you see in hotels. It was loud/noisy and could not keep up with the heat of the day. Luckily we were not spending our day in the hotel room. We had to set it on high for 65 degrees just to get the temperature ok for sleeping. The bathroom sink, mirror, TV, and bed were good and modern.

Affordable Fun Refuge in Tucson

A perfect getaway base for an affordable visit to Tucson. This place has it all: convenient location, great atmosphere, fun amenities such as poolside evening concerts, good coffee and a fun breakfast bar. The staff were friendly, fun and not too hip for old guys like me! We felt very comfortable and included. The room had everything one needs, and also some unneeded things that are just plain fun!
