Enjoyed our stay for the most part. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast options were very good. Our room was comfortable but feel that the bathroom needs an update and there was a lot of sound transference when other guest bathrooms were in use. Bottom line is that we received good value and the location is great.

Best place to stay at in my favorite town

Had a wonderful time with my parents. The hotel was very accomodating to our request during our stay. Its also a minute walk from the ferry to seattle so you can savor your stay to the very last minute before heading home.

Great housekeeping staff, and the attendants in the breakfast room were very accommodating and helpful. The location was away from the hustle and bustle of the main street but walkable from anywhere downtown. Easy to get an Uber/cab to and from if had to travel far.

Wonderful property, great service, but the heater in my room was broken so it was very cold. Breakfast was good, but the black pepper and scrambled egg tasted a bit off. Overall I had a great experience here.

Old hotel, rooms have been upgraded and are clean. House keeping staff do an excellent job, however I believe there are not enough to have rooms ready in a timely manner. If staying on any floor other than the top floor, the noise level from bathroom fans in above rooms along with the noise from water pipes in the building is un settling. Although front desk staff said they were addressing concerns, I sincerely believe they just ignored them. Honestly, I can not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is older, which was part of the charm . The hotel and property are well maintained. It is easy walking distance to downtown Victoria's restaurants, shopping, and attractions. They had a very good breakfast that was included with our stay.

Property is old and amenities are not the best. We have issues with the washroom and we requested a plunger as the toilet always was clogged it was annoy, bathroom door lock was broken and a piece of it always fell down. Service was ok nothing above expectations to says. Breakfast was good but not impressive but was worth for the money paid.

The hotel was satisfactory. The room and bathroom were clean. However, noise is an issue as sound travels pretty easily across walls. For two nights in a row, we were awakened at 3am in the morning by loud, raucous taking and laughing by a group of guests who would stroll in the corridor to either step out for an early outing or were just checking in. When we mentioned this to the staff at reception, the grievance fell on deaf ears and they were even defensive in their manner. The breakfast service was good and the staff at breakfast was friendly and courteous. We liked the location, the convenience and ease of parking but would not choose to stay again due to the noise percolation. Cannot afford to not have a good night's sleep, especially on a trip/vacation.

Lovely and so cozy! We stayed in January for a romantic weekend. The place is clean and renovated. Breakfast was a buffet with enough options for our various dietary limitations. Now we are planning to come back in summer to see the beautiful garden in bloom!

Disappointing this visit.

This hotel has been our go to in Victoria and we have normally been happy with our stay. Our first night was good as usual, but the second night was very challenging. A late room rental above our room on the second floor was very noisy with people tramping on the floor, talking loudly, opening and closing the sliding door and what sounded like moving furniture. The front desk did not answer our call so had to get dressed and went down to the front desk where I was told the problem would be dealt with. After another 45 minutes I called again and the front desk they said again that they would deal with it. The racket went on until sometime around midnight when I finally fell asleep. I complained in the morning and was offered free parking which did not start to cover the cost of a good nights sleep. There did not appear to be many customers in the hotel so I asked if they were strategic in their room allocation (like not putting late night customers above or beside an occupied room but was not offered an answer.
