Great room,shower and bed. Location is in a quiet, street not far from many sites although you will need close public transit to ge to many sites. Size of room is fantastic and rainfall shower really great after long flight.

An old building with high ceilings in a quiet central location, wonderful courtyard area (that can also be used for al fresco breakfasts), excellent breakfast and the wine bar which serves good wines (vouchers were available in lieu of room cleaning). In the summer aircon brought room temperature down to 23-24C.

If you like wine ads all over your room, cheesy “wine makes me sexy” decor, you/me stickers on your bed, no coffee maker in the room, stained walls/furniture, a single bottle of water to share for two and difficult hotel parking for $300 a night then this is the hotel for you.

Just spent 8 days at the Rathaus Wine and Design. Sad to leave as it was starting to feel like home. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel is situated close to the inner city but back on a quiet street. Lots of great restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

My family and I had a great stay at the Hotel Rathaus. Clean, quiet, and located within walking distance of some amazing sightseeing. I had a 2nd floor room which was modern, spacious, and clean. My sister and mother stayed in rooms on the third floor which were also very nice though not as new as my room. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet was a perfect start to each day. Thanks again to the staff - I hope to be back again soon!

Booked this hotel for a long weekend with my partner, having never been to Vienna before. The hotel is well located, about 15 mins walk to the centre of everything (with a lovely park en route) , and even closer to the parliament buildings and the museums. We much preferred this than if we had stayed super central. It’s off the main road, so relatively quiet as well. The room was clean and spacious, with big bathroom and a waterfall shower. The staff were absolutely delightful- incredibly friendly and helpful! They gave some great food recommendations and even called a couple of restaurants for us to get us reservations. Jorges wine bar is really lovely to have a quiet couple of drinks in the evening, and Jorge was an absolute star and very knowledgable. He gave us local wine recommendations and truly knows his stuff and is passionate about wine. We spent the half the trip talking about how lovely all the hotel staff were! Would absolutely stay here again next time I’m in Vienna.

The hotel is conveniently located, the staff were very helpful. One of our rooms was very nice, the other less so, but neither offered privacy when showering (completely open area). Also, the hotel failed to notify us that luggage could not be held beyond 3 pm as they were closing for one week. So we wasted the morning trying to store our luggage as there were no available lockers at the train station.
