I was scammed out of a 2 night stay that had booked for 5 months in advance even though I was continuously in contact with the hotel and front desk where I was assured there was no issue. My sky view room was worth triple what I booked it for because of a festival that was later announced so I was basically forced to leave. Literally the shadiest place I’ve ever dealt with, it’s sad because this was my favorite place to stay and my family and I have been staying here for years but never again

This property was filthy from the very minute you walked in the door. There was hair all over the floor in the bathroom, mold sand all over the floor. The balconies were dirty. Had food from the previous renters. Just playing out nasty. And just think I paid over $1000 for three nights. What a rip off that was I would advise you to stay the hell away from this property. Much better properties at a cheaper price a lot cleaner also and just think I used to be a general manager for choice hotels

Where do I start, this hotel has everything you need, it has parking, pool, jacuzzi, a beautiful ocean view and it has so many restaurants close by. I highly recommend this hotel. The view was beautiful and the best part was I seen dolphins from my window, it was the coolest thing to see. The staff were amazing. I am definitely staying at this hotel again.

Had to change rooms when we first got there because the first room had a cockroach that came out from under the fridge. We changed rooms and floors. everything was fine after that. The new room was clean and for the most part quiet. Everybody that worked there was very nice.

We have stayed at The Barclay many times. What we like is the location. On the quieter end of things and beautiful ocean views. Love the layout of the room how the bedroom is separate from the “living” quarters. Still plenty around Cons - it’s a little outdated and could use some updating but I think they are working on that. Other would be the others staying there, this time we had a big family in the next three rooms down, they would hang out in the hall and you had to ask to get by. A little disrespectful, we all ned to share the common areas, its just good manners to have. Not everyone is like that thiugh, just our experience this time. Otherwise a great stay, would go again, but might look at other places too just to compare.

Amenities like free parking and good coffee were nice extras. We happened to be there while they were doing some renovations ahead of the busy season. Slightly annoying, but work looked good, so I’m sure future guests will be pleased. Beautiful views and great location.
