Overall great staff and hotel

Great warm welcome from the reception staff upon arrival. Hotel is well located and parking is just across the street with a discount. Room was small but sufficient, only problem is we had some issues with bugs in the room (from my experience it's the ones in the drains). We came back into the room and they were on the bed and I'm our luggage (just one each time).

Really great location and great architecture and vibes. The staff was super polite and helpful. Two different times I showered and could not get any hot water - I waited a long time and finally got some “not cold” water. The rooms are also a bit noisy.

nice Micro-hotel with all the services you need in the heart of Foggy Bottom. The staff is beyond excellent. The rooms are clean but small, but everything you need is available. I just wish I came to DC more often so I could stay here.

Impressive

Clean room. Spacious enough given it was a micro hotel. Amazing staff and customer service. Stayed at Hotel Hive for the DC Half Marathon - 15-20 minute walk to the starting line. Amazing Manor Hill beer on tap. Fantastic rooftop bar and pizza. No complaints.

Hotel Hive is the perfect micro hotel for solo travelers coming to the D.C. area. Hotel staff, Sansa & Max are awesome! The staff was very warm and welcoming at check in. It’s a great micro hotel. The elevator is a smidge slow. But it’s an older building and it does what it needs to do. The room was great. The bed was comfortable and the curtains really kept the light out. Lots of outlets which are a necessity these days. Overall it was a great stay. If we’re ever out here again we would definitely stay again.

I had a truly great time at this hotel. The room was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was also ideal for my trip, I was attending a wedding reception at the Kennedy Center. The only issue was lack of hot water in the shower for my stay on Friday night and Saturday. When I checked out on Sunday, there was hot water. I understand that issues can happen, other this I would have given an excellent rating. Despite this, I would consider staying here again in the hopes that this problem was isolated.
