This is a great location. The White House is within walking distance. Georgia Brown's restaurant is around the corner and it is wonderful.

Failure on the valet!

The only fail was the valet service! Valet quoted me $29 a night and it was $ 69 a night! I would have self parked if I knew how much it was. Told $29, charged $69! I called to complain, but no one responded to my complaint! A very negative finish to an otherwise nice hotel stay!

The hotel was both historic and modern, which was very appealing to me. The staff was uniformly excellent, the room was spacious and quiet, the restaurant friendly and the food good. The location was perfect for our needs.

Nice place to stay for a 1st time visit. Staff was extremely courteous and accommodations were above average. Only real gripe was they don't offer airport shuttles.
