Family Vacation

Enjoyed our room and felt everything was very clean. Thought the $14 breakfast was not worth it. It’s basically what you would get as a complimentary breakfast at other hotels. You are much better off going across the street to Call Your Mother Deli or next door to Tatte Bakery and Cafe both had delicious options. I’ve also never stayed at a hotel that did not provide guests with coffee/tea. Those were only available if you spent $14 on breakfast which I find ridiculous. Besides those things I did give the hotel 4 stars because the location was great, we walked everywhere, and the room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel AC was very loud we couldn’t sleep we complained for front desk and they offer us free breakfast. Which we don’t care about the breakfast. We had two rooms in the different levels both room AC were very loud. We were setting on the lobby from 5 am until 8 am to avoid the AC blower.

We needed a one night reservation and this location was perfect for our needs. The hotel was very clean and in a safe part of the city. Transportation and restaurants were in walking distance. A helpful hint regarding parking. We chose not to utilize the $60 valet parking and instead chose the public garage next to the hotel entrance. That garage was safe, well lit, and cost $40 for our approximately 24 hour stay. Would recommend parking in that garage.

It is more of a health issue. We stayed in Hyatt Place Washington DC/Georgetown/West End. Room number 413. From July 20-23. I was sneezing in the room and then I decided to open the small door where is the a/c filter. And I was shocked. The amount of dust, the color of the filter. It is dated 4/19/25, means it was changed in April. And we are in July. I attached the pics before and after. But I was more shocked when I went to the front desk where I’ve been told that it will be cleaned for next guest. I said absolutely no and asked to send maintenance right away.
