Clean, Comfortable Stay with Eco-Friendly Touches,

The hotel was very clean, and the room — including the bed — was comfortable. I appreciated the eco-friendly touches, such as a jug of water in the room and a body wash dispenser. Breakfast, however, was a bit of a letdown. The fresh fruit selection was sparse, and the juices tasted like they came from a carton. While the hot breakfast was served promptly and arrived hot — which was very welcome — overall, it felt expensive for what we received. We were visiting the Fleadh in Wexford and were familiar with the area and have attended dances there over the years so we had no problem making the journey from Wexford. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was easy to access. Check-in was quick and staff was lovely. Family room has multiple beds so good for families. It was a bit noisy until about 12 due to an event. My kids are younger so had trouble falling asleep.

A wonderful warm welcome on arrival. We loved the large room and its outlook. Great night’s sleep. The service was spot on in the bar/restaurant. All staff were friendly and helpful. Great evening meal and breakfast - we’re pleased we chose this hotel for our stay in Waterford.

Outstanding stay!

Our stay was excellent! The hotel is 10 min drive outside of Waterford, but was a great choice. The hotel is kept in great condition, the staff were outstanding - at reception, at breakfast and at the lounge/bar where we had dinner two nights. So attentive and friendly! Our meals were beautiful - just wish I had room for dessert! Highly recommend The Rhu Glenn.

Hotels.com stated it had A/C when in fact it did not. The toilet didn’t flush properly so we had to use the lobby toilet. When I called the front desk her response was she could call a plumber in the morning- not helpful. Didn’t offer another room.

great stay east of Waterford

Excellent check-in with John followed by nice visit to the pub and restful night's sleep. Easy and plentiful parking. Location was perfect for us on the way out of Waterford along the south coast!

Excellent Hotel

This hotel is a brilliant place to stay. It is easy to locate, there is a large amount of free easy parking. The breakfast is of good quality, plentiful and well cooked. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is nothing not to like here.
