Spend your money somewhere else.

After visiting the spa and restaurant on a previous occasion we decided to book an overnight stay at the Bayshore Inn. What a huge disappointment! The room smelled musty, the room is small ,the bathroom had hardly any space to put your personal belongings,the bathtub caulking was mouldy and the tub was super slippery. There was a patio with 2 super uncomfortable chairs and no table to put your mug on.

We stayed in room 114. It was claimed to be a Romantic suite. The bed was worn down like a bad stretch of hiway, and pillows were terrible. The entrance and balcony doors both had gaps in the bottoms. Rain water run-off was coming in under the front door. The toilet was a mish-mash of pieces and had no seat lid. All this made it very difficult to have a romantic weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay in Waterton. We had a lakeview room, quiet, serene. The patio overlooking the lake side was exactly what we were looking for. We didn't make it to the restaurant so can't review the dining portion. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms have been renovated and are large enough to spend time in without feeling cramped. The decks are lovely from a view perspective. The chairs were not comfortable to sit in and could use a refresh. The site this hotel is on is prime real estate with views of the lake and open balcony or decks for enjoying the view. The marina is right beside the hotel so tours on the lake are easy to walk to. The town site is lovely and this hotel begins at one end of the walkable Main Street. We had an amazing dinner at the Chop House restaurant, daily coffee and breakfast at obe of the restaurants on the Main Street and shopped all around the town as it’s walking distance even for my husband recovering from a knee replacement. Loved Waterton Lakes for the boat tours, the many walking paths and hiking routes and High Tea at the Prince of Whales hotel. We highly recommend a visit to this area and would stay again at the Bayshore Inn

Pleasent Stay in National Park

Stayed for one night. Check in was quick and easy. Stayed on 2nd floor with a lake view room (note there are mature trees between the hotel and lake so in Summer you don't see much of a view from the balcony). Beds were comfortable, air conditioner was loud. Bathroom and shower were lovely, but no fan in the bathroom. Parking lot was full, luckily most cars parked within the lines. Only one ice machine next to the lobby.

This so-called “resort” has nothing family-friendly about it. Traveling with our child under 2, we asked to check in just 1.5 hours early on a hot day so the baby could rest — the front desk coldly refused. Our baby had to sleep on the lobby sofa while staff hid in the back chatting. At this hotel, “family-friendly” is just an empty slogan. Parents, don’t expect any care or consideration here.

Dissappointed - over priced.

Very poor value for the price. Bathroom drains very slow, looks like an old strip motel where they changed the name and tripled the price. Stayed next night at Priclnce of Wales for half the price. Great restaraunt and pub but hotel was way over priced.
