Very nice hotel and in a safe location. The pool was open and very nice, so the kids loved that. Bed was a little stiff, but other than that very nice hotel.
Only detractor: two bath towels and a floor towel provided. No hand towels or washcloths in the room. Didn't notice until I needed them in the morning and didn't bother to ask. It was harder to wash the shave cream off my face by just splashing water on it.
The breakfast was AMAZING! They decorated for Valentine's Day and had red velvet waffles and fun toppings! We were on the top floor and had a lovely stay!
I recently stayed at Hampton for 5 days with my two dogs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean, beds we cozy, breakfast was tasty, coffee was above expectations, and overall very enjoyable. I think one of the breakdast staff was quite sick (I heard him coughing) and sadly, I tested positive for Covid after my stay. Not sure if it's related, but I feel pretty crappy.
Pool was closed which sucked. I wanted to swim while I was there. Other than that, it was a very nice property, in a VERY nice area of Wichita.
It was a really good time!! The room was nice!! The ac/heater was noisy when it ran, and it would have been nice if water bottles and snacks were provided in the rooms. Otherwise it was amazing! I’ve stayed at alot worse motels. This was one of the better ones!! :)
The pool was closed. Maintenance isn't a bad thing but evidently it had been closed for awhile and was not disclosed at booking and is still being advertised. This trip with kids was all about cousins spending time w/ grandparents-and a pool.
The reassurance that we were close to my sister’s hospital and could park the camper off to the side and unhook and drive our car back and forth to the hospital. My husband is in love with your breakfasts!
We arrived at 3 PM which was our check-in time but the woman at the desk said she didn’t think our room was ready because she had not heard from housekeeping yet. Basically said all we could do was wait because she couldn’t give us a room yet. Needless to say it didn’t start out well. I’m not sure why she didn’t offer to call housekeeping. She did state that she could upgrade us to a king suite, but since we booked our room through a third-party, it wouldn’t let her do that so we were out of luck. Why even tell me that? It just made me a little more pissed off. All in all the room was decent. But starting to get a little worn looking. All in all it was a good stay and all of the staff I ran into were super sweet and helpful. Probably would’ve write things better. Had they not started off on the wrong foot?
