everything was as shown on the website, which is rare. the place was immaculate and the staff could not have been better. so friendly and helpful even though i could not speak any Thai. it was great. if i come back to Phayao i will definately stay there.

Nice renovated room and modern building with lots of glasses allowing sunlight through. Staff are nice and friendly. Free bike rental for cruising along the lake. Interesting to see lots of anglers fishing there. Nice town

The hotel was comfortable but basic. No tea/coffee facilities in the room, just in the common areas. Free buffet breakfast included was basic - advertised testaurant was only open for breakfast. Phayao Gateway Hotel
This was just an overnight stay in the provincial capital to meet friends for dinner and hang out a bit, as our home is about 30km away from town.
