Beautiful view of beach and unique sunset over water that we don't see on the east coast. Very comfy bed and pillows, super clean. Cosy. Concierge went above and beyond when we had an early morning flight out next morning. Thanks guys. Would highly recommend staying here.

Gorgeous location. If you can afford it get an ocean view room. It’s stunning especially the sunsets over the beach. Rooms are nice. Location near great shops and restaurants and the beach with the pier is amazing.

Grand at the Grand

I have had many happy stays at the Stamford Grand, Glenelg. It is clean, comfortable and superbly located on the beautiful seafront, close to public transport, 15 minutes to the airport, numerous restaurants, cafes and bars in walking distance. Glenelg has excellent shopping, something for everyone.

You cannot beat the location! Beachfront with so many restaurants and everyday shopping in walking distance - with the tram outside the side door. Old world charm and grandeur just makes you feel special. The restaurant is getting a bit neglected and needs a refurb - but the breakfast and dinner - delicious! Cocktail lounge is wonderful for a relaxed drink, music, light meal - but the staff a bit slow with drink orders. Overall - we had a lovely stay. Our room was clean, bed comfy, appreciated the updated bathroom with open access shower. We picked a beach view room - which we loved - next time will get a balcony room - to feel the breeze and smell the sea air.
