The apartment was beautiful, the bedding was top quality, the apartment had everything you would need, the grounds were well cared for as was the pool, the restaurant was wonderful as was the breakfast, everything and more. All the staff were very friendly, and attentive, they were very knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble, the whole resort and apartment was very clean and tidy, we just loved staying at the praia do sal resort and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Seen better days, best for families

This is nice spot for families, but not a good place to relax. The room doors are designed to slam, and it is impossible to relax or sleep in. Every time anyone on our entire floor left or entered their room, their door would slam so hard our room shook. Housekeeping did not prop doors open, and would slam the door every 3-5 minutes while cleaning a room. It was horrible! This is not a luxury resort by any stretch, it is a comfortable family hotel. The hotel is a little run down, and has definitely seen better days. The pictures are much nicer than the actual hotel condition today.

Pool lots smaller than the photos look. Pool bar terrible service. Really bad service also in the cafe/bar. Had to change room but the room they changed us into still gad problems( shower door missing, door stop cover missing hence screw facing up from the floor) problem with balcony door also.

Overall a wonderful experience. The staff were helpful, friendly, and informative. Parking was a bit of a pain, as the building lot is small, and the guests need to use a municipal lot. It was a bit frustrating when there was an event happening at the cultural centre which closed down the municipal lot. Otherwise, the experience was great, facilities well kept, rooms were spacious, cleaners were thorough, kitchen was well equipped and you’re close enough to Lisbon you can visit during the day, but far enough away, you don’t have to deal with the city if you don’t want to.

Value for Money

Didn’t fall short of expectations. From the welcoming smile of the hotel front desk staff, the comfort of the room and really lovely ambience of the terrace, to a relaxing time in the spa and indoor swimming pool. Daily room cleaning service offer was such a thoughtful idea I must add. Overall, my wife and I had a good experience at the resort for four days.

We had an amazing stay at this resort. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Our room was clean with lots of thoughtful amenities. The area of Alcochete is quaint and charming. We would stay again!

What a wonderful place to end our two week vacation in Portugal, with two days at this resort. Wonderful amenities, and we use the spa services, eight at the restaurant and enjoyed the pool, saunas and loved our studio suite as well! You can walk to some great little nearby bars and eateries and enjoy the beautiful view across the bay of Lisbon.

Needs some TLC

Property shows great potential. Staff were amazing, rooms were comfortable and restaurant was delicious. It seems like a crew of handymen need to spend a few weeks there however. Door stoppers were broken off in the room, one leaving a sharp metal for your toe to find in the dark. The spa is a good setup, but 2/3’d of the jets didn’t work. There was enough sand and junk in the pool to fill a bucket. The sauna wood is starting to rot and plans and wall are loose in many places
