Good modern hotel. Breakfast plenty of well stocked options. Rooms are a good size and modern and comfortable beds. Roof top with pool is a lovely space. Sunbeds at a premium at times but usually find one if you hang about. Staff very friendly and responsive prior to and during our stay .

Our room was in the annexe and the balcony had no privacy and looked out onto a building site. The room itself was ok, but there was no ventilation in the bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the roof top pool/bar was great. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice.

Excellent place to stay.

Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. From check in to check out the service was impeccable from the friendly staff. Check in was quick and easy and advice given on where to find free parking spaces near to the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with a large choice. Pool side was great with a delicious day time menu. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean.

I would recommend this hotel for a great many reasons - it’s conveniently situated in the town, polite and friendly staff, great roof terrace with pool, seating, cafe/restaurant and panoramic views etc. But above all we thought it represented good value for what was on offer.

We Loved this hotel. Great breakfast, nice clean room with balcony, comfortable bed. Great pool. This hotel is walking distance to so many restaurants. The Best part were the people working there, so friendly, polite and helpful.

An incredible honeymoon retreat.

The hotel is fantastic. Upon arrival, we were permitted to hold our bags until our room was available. They called us when so, and we were not disappointed! The room was spacious enough, with a generous sized bathroom and good facilities. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with loads of local cafés and restaurants within a 10 minute walk, as well as two supermarkets for essentials. The staff were also kind enough to provide us a map of local hotspots which served the best food in Olhão. The rooftop pool is perfect for relaxing, and room service is prompt. Cleaners also tidy your room for you daily if you need it, which came in extremely handy when we spent days out in the local area. We hugely recommend this place - it's perfect for a relaxing stay.

Fantastic stay, from the initial greeting on check in I knew it was going to a fantastic stay. All the staff are professional and friendly. Olhao was such a nice surprise and a great base to explore the area. Doesn’t feel as touristy as Faro and the food options were amazing. Would recommend Pizza na Pedro - best Italian I have had in a long time. GNO if you want seafood and traditional Portuguese

Formosa is a Very Nice Hotel

Love the Formosa. Great modern design. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooftop pool and bar has a panoramic view and is a real pleasure. Garage is a plus. Breakfast is very good. Convenient walk to restaurants and shops.

The staff were great, rooms were really nice and clean. Small things were not so great, like the pool would sometimes not be clean (although that could be because of the wind) and our en-suite coffee mugs were not replaced after we used them. All in all, really enjoyed our stay and would stay again happily.

Amazing Stay in Olhão

We had an amazing 3 night stay! The hotel was spotless and in a great location. The staff were welcoming and helpful, you could see they worked really hard to maintain the quality throughout the hotel! We used the rooftop pool/bar area everyday and had no problem getting a sun bed. Great facilities which were kept nice and tidy. A very relaxing environment to be in. The breakfast was delicious and had great options. We had a superior room, which was really spacious and had lots of storage and again spotless, lovely interior throughout. The perfect getaway, we would love to come back!
