This was my 2nd time at the hotel . It’s a fantastic small hotel with a great location , lovely rooms , excellent small rooftop bar and pool . The staff are all lovely and friendly .

Nice modern hotel with a really nice rooftop bar and pool overlooking Olhao skyline. Breakfast was really good and the bed was comfy and the location was perfect for me.

Boutique hotel in the quiet town of Olhao, roof top pool and bar, small but very well done with a few sunbeds, and seating. No dining at hotel apart from breakfast, but lots of restaurants with a 10 minute walk. Some of the standard rooms are pretty small for 2 people and luggage, so might be worth upgrading for a bit more space. Taxis are very affordable to get to Faro airport and train stations.

A return visit to Pure Formosa. As soon as I arrived it came back to me. How really nice this hotel and the staff are. Fantastic breakfast and a quiet rooftop pool together with friendly staff make this an excellent hotel. Looking forward to another visit to Olhão someday.

Great atay

On arrival we have asked for an early check in possibility- no issues at all, Fernanda at the reception desk is an absolute super star! So nice and welcoming! On the day of the arrival, there was a blackout in Portugal, all staff were there to help and support during this difficult time. Every day there was someone to tidy the room and change the bedding, give clean towels. Room was very clean, modern design was very pleasant.

Lovely place

Really nice little hotel. Small place but nice location, not too busy, small area not too touristy, rooftop bar and pool. Main walk few minutes down to harbour area. Good for couples and solo chill out.

Rude Receptionist

This is my second stay at the Hotel. Unfortunately we were wrongly accused of taking 2 blankets from the downstairs area where we never sat - by a very aggressive Receptionist. We had to leave for the Airport were then pursued via e-mails regarding the blankets causing us anguish - I complained to the Manager who confirmed it was a mistake but it spolit the experience for us.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who checked us in. He provided us with local information about restaurants and made some wonderful recommendations. All of the staff at reception and housekeeping made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. The hotel has a relaxing rooftop area although we didn't use the pool due to weather conditions. The rooms and bathrooms are cosy and well kept.
