We had a great experience. The hotel is great. The staff was friendly and there were tons of things to do. The rooms were a little outdated, could use a facelift but were clean. We enjoyed the indoor Waterpark, the arcade, and tried a few of the eateries. There was also mini golf, skating, and go-cart. A few of the restaurants and the laser tag were closed. There was too much to do in one weekend, we'll definitely be going back.

Have you seen the shining? This hotel is creepy!! Elevators didn’t work, so we took the stairs… leaks throughout the building… ended up on a deserted floor after exiting the staircase… couldn’t find my way out! Vacant ballrooms from a bygone era!! Restaurants all closed up! No heat in the entire main lobby!

I said I had a good stay. Clean - Aubri great at check in.!!! Unfortunately Sat morning front desk refused to honor rate for another nite so I left property because they wanted another $150 security deposit. And no guarantee of previous night’s rate. Very disappointing the Expedia discount was not worth complications to extend stay.

This was my first time staying at Showboat and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, clean, and had a great view. There’s so much to do inside the hotel and nearby. Perfect for a weekend trip with friends.
