I don't usually remember to leave a review, but this was a very excellent hotel. The owners have preserved the historic aspects of the building while thoroughly modernizing the rooms and they are extremely clean. The restaurants are excellent, I ate at Le 9th several times. The location is very quiet and central. The housekeeping was excellent and no matter what time of day I left and took the sign off the door it was clean when I returned, which I did not expect (most US hotels have a set time for cleaning).

The staff was wonderful. They were extremely helpful. We arrived a bit later that we wanted, they found us room to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food was amazing . We will go back on our next trip.

The location can’t be better. Easy walking access to the central city. We didn’t have breakfast, but did have a lunch and dinner. Service was excellent, food very good, and great value. Hotel staff friendly. The room was in need of an update. Bathroom nice, but bedroom very dark, carpets badly stained, and air conditioning weak. Overall good, but could be better.

Très bel hôtel avec un côté sympa avec cette cours intérieur et le passage devant les cuisines ouvertes. Très déçue 😢

J’ai été très déçue j’avais choisi la chambre privilège à 110€ la nuit, j’ai eu droit à la chambre de mon arrière grand-mère avec moquette qui sent un autre temps, la salle de bain tapissé de miroirs c même flippant, la baignoire pour la douche sans rideau vous oblige à imbiber la moquette donc une odeur désagréable + une sensation de sol trempé au niveau des pieds vous dégoûte bref une cata !! La TV parlons-en elle est posée sur une table roulante que l’on doit d’une prise car sinon le fil n’est pas assez long c digne d’un gîte et encore. Je suis déjà venue ds cet hôtel et je pense que j’étais logée ds des chambres rénovées … là j’ai trouvé que ct malhonnête et le rapport qualité prix injustifié un hôtel comme le splendide à Dax propose de superbes chambres à 80€ … le petit déjeuner a 15€ n’est pas à la hauteur pas de jus d’orange pressé pas d’œuf brouillé… déçue déçue 😞 Le personnel est très gentil autant le monsieur a l’accueil qu’au restaurant.

Hôtel très bien (hormis les horaires à la réception assez "élastiques") . En plein centre ville et à deux pas des lieux à visiter. Par contre, pour trouver un taxi pour repartir, en train, malgré 14 (!) compagnies contactées par la réception; impossible d'atteindre la gare et dû changer mes horaires. Donc, ville à éviter si vous n'avez pas votre propre moyen de transport. Dommage !!

On m'a refusé la soirée étape, car j'ai, soit disant, bénéficier d'une remise sur le prix de la chambre, en passant par plate-forme. Faux j'ai payé le même prix affiché dans la chambre. Après, que la plate-forme prenne u e commission, c'est pas mon problème. Chambre confortable et fonctionnelle. Dîner pris à la brasserie, pour un prix de restaurant gastronomique.

Clim qui ne fonctionne pas ! Sous la moquette un parquet complètement déformé et dés bulles d’air sous la moquette . Certaines prises électriques ne fonctionne pas ! Vu la vétusté de l’établissement le prix est beaucoup trop chère même si elles sont grandes
